Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born February 20 2002) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Her lead roles in the Disney films High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Bizaardvark made her famous in the latter half of 2010. After signing with Geffen and Interscope Records in 2020, Rodrigo released her debut single "Drivers License", which broke various records and was one of the best-selling songs in 2021, bringing her to mainstream fame. Following it she released two singles "Deja Vu,"" and "Good 4 U" and her debut solo album Sour (2021) that received numerous accolades, which included three Grammy Awards. In 2022, Olivia Rodrigo was featured in a Disney+ documentary, Olivia Rodrigo. The documentary traces her creative process. Rodrigo has been a Billboard Hot 100 Number-One Single, one Billboard 200 Number-One Album, and five multi-Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. In addition to other accolades, she was given an American Music Award as well as seven Billboard Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, and an American Music Award. Time declared her as the 2021 Entertainer of Year and Billboard named her Woman of the Year in 2022. Her paternal great grandfather, Rodrigo, moved from the Philippines when she was a teenager, and moved to the United States.
