Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th, 1967. Roberts is part of four generations of the Robertses that reside in the Atlanta area, starting by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. In the early years of his life his father became obsessed by theatre. When he was a college pupil at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he participated in numerous performances. When he joined in 1953 the Air Force in Biloxi, he was seen with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in the year 1957. The couple divorced in 1957. the Air Force and Walter was enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960, the family relocated from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The year 1964 was when Walter along with Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. They also established the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. The couple had another two children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know by the name Julie).
