Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 the 28th of October, 1967. Julia Fiona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. At an early age, her dad became fascinated by the theater. When he was an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was commissioned into the airforce in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year. In 1957 the couple left the military and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was recruited by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for Bum Bum and His Buddies, which aired in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local Saturday morning children's TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also known as Julie) at the time.
