Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics when she was only six years old. The coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went to an outing. Biles received a silver medal for vault and also a medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began playing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. In less than two years, she became the top athlete in her field. Biles was notable for her consistency in performance, vivacious persona, and the difficulty of her routines at the four events she competed in including vault, uneven bars, and the balance beam.
